Autumn Fig Smoothie


Recipe for my Autumn Fig Smoothie

I love making smoothies using seasonal fruit and veg. This month there is an abundance of fresh figs in the supermarkets, so I decided to grab a load and incorporate them in my daily smoothies. My Autumn fig smoothie is so easy to make, all you need is:

  • 2 figs chopped (washed with the top and bottom removed)
  • 2 dried dates
  • 1 banana
  • 150ml of almond milk
  • 1 tsp of ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 tsp chia seed
  • Hanfull of oats

Add all the ingredients to a Nutribullet or blender, whizz until smooth, pour into a glass, add a slice of fig and a sprinkle of chia seeds on top.
